Rob is a trainer with an unbridled amount of passion and commitment. This self-professed jock stepped into the fitness industry by taking his BCRPA certification in 1995. It was here that Rob decided to make fitness the focal point of his life and share his positive addiction with others. He went on to the University of British Columbia where he graduated in 2000 with a Bachelors Degree in Human Kinetics. Shortly afterwards, he became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. With experience in training a wide variety of individuals at different ages and different fitness levels, Rob prides himself on being able to adapt his training to whatever each client needs.

Pieter’s leadership qualities are the foundation of his personal training abilities. He studied at the Institute of Fitness Professionals in South Africa, and received specific accreditation in biomechanics, nutrition, injuries, exercise science, anatomy and exercise physiology. He’s been a personal trainer since 1996, and moved to Canada in June 1999 where he’s pursued personal training as well as his own pursuits in bodybuilding and power lifting. For him, the rewards are the changes he can affect for his clients, the confidence he can bring to their lives, and the opportunity to interact with people from all walks of life.

Kimberley Payne

604.837.0767

kim@ejelements.com

Kimberley has an extensive background in management, personal training, education, and coaching. She has achieved great success in many facets of the health and fitness industry and her belief in developing one's potential in body, mind, and spirit has served as the foundation for her creativity and achievements in bodybuilding as a national and provincial competitor; artistic achievements as a writer, director, and performer; and community contributions as an educator, coach, mentor, and leader. After completing 3 years of Pre Med at UBC and managing the UBC BirdCoop Fitness Facility, Kimberley found herself torn between eastern and western healthcare philosophies. She has drawn upon a variety of disciplines to bridge the gap between these ideologies and develop the EJ ELEMENTS Training Method and the EJ ELEMENTS Coaching Method.

He found the training so interesting and fun that he went on to become a BCRPA certified trainer. Sparky has used his vast experience and training expertise to co-design and coach the EJ RUN program. He is an Adidas-sponsored athlete, a member of the Lions Gate Road Runners and an Endorphin Junkie!
